The Sweden’s National SF Convention, Fantastika 2013 starts tomorrow, Friday, the 18th of October and lasts until Sunday, the 20th of October in Stockholm. The Swedish National annual SF convention takes place in ”Dieselverkstaden” (The Diesel Workshop) in Sickla/Nacka close to the centre of Stockholm.
Guests of Honor are the canadian writer Jo Walton (Hugo and Nebula winner), the swedish writer Karin Tidbeck and Lavie Tidhar. Johan Anglemark is the Fan Guest of Honour.
The programming will be in Swedish and English, and almost always there will be some programme in English.

The 2013 F.A.C.T.S. ( Fantasy Anime Comics Toys Space) convention in Ghent (Flanders Expo), Belgium, October 19-20, 2013.
Fantasy Anime Comics Toys Space (F.A.C.T.S.) is a Belgian science fiction, fantasy, comics and anime convention, and the biggest of its sort in the Benelux.
Launched in 1993 in Ghent, it has grown over the years and now welcomes over 10,000 visitors at each edition. From 1998 until 2008 the F.A.C.T.S. convention was held in the I.C.C. in Ghent, Belgium. The 2009 edition took place in Flanders Expo for the first time. The convention currently covers more than 8,000 sq. m..
F.A.C.T.S. is organized once a year by Con-Fuse bvba, an organisation promoting Science Fiction, Comics, Fantasy and Japanese animation. Con-Fuse bvba creates a forum for all fans of the “fantastic genre”, giving them an entire weekend during which all of their favourite events are united under one roof. As one of the few convention in the Benelux, the convention had more visitors than the previous edition.
The Fifth edition of “Autres mondes” (Other Worlds) Festival of the Imaginary is taking place between 19th to 20th of October in Pays D’Aix, France : Lambesc, les Pennes-Mirabeau, Rognes and La Roque d’Anthéron.
