STARMUS FESTIVAL IV: Life And The Universe
The Starmus Festival was born to celebrate science and the arts with the goal of bringing an understanding and appreciation of science to the public at large.
Starmus IV was the biggest Starmus festival yet: an international star-studded gathering of scientists, artists, musicians, writers, business leaders, and more; all coming together to celebrate science.
An exciting festival of talks, concerts, debates, parties, and learning.
The Festival has featured Stephen Hawking, Buzz Aldrin, Neil Armstrong, Richard Dawkins, Alexei Leonov, Jim Lovell, Brian May, Jill Tarter, Kip Thorne, and Rick Wakeman among others.
Since the very first Homo Sapiens looked up at a star-filled sky we have been awestruck by the vastness of the cosmos.
Even today we remain humbled by the sheer immensity of space, especially as through our progress in physics and astronomy, we are now aware of the tremendous distances involved – even to our closest neighbouring stars.
The Starmus Festival is a combination of science, art and music that has featured presentations from Astronauts, Cosmonauts, Nobel Prize Winners and prominent figures from science, culture, the arts and music.
Its an astronomical and artistic experience that is enhancing your perception of your place in the Universe and change your life forever!
