The second phase of the Italia Award had started: the jury will have to choose between the finalists. The procedure is quite complex, and requires a lot of standardization.
Now the voters – the participants in one of the last two italian national conventions and the subscribers of the World SF – are called upon to make their contribution to the second phase, which this year no longer relies on the australian ballot’s sophisticated mechanism, using a single dry vote instead. A mechanism which obviously disadvantage the ones that produces more, running the risk of seeing split votes on various titles.
For this reason, you will see a list of Delos Books candidates that we are sugessting to vote for in order to avoid being too disadvantaged by the new mechanism. 183 voting cards were received.
