Sci-Fi Contacts

SCI-FI Contacts – From TEXT to SCREEN Film Series – Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8 p.m. in the FGV (Friuli Venezia Giulia) Italo-American Association’s Multi-Media Room (6, Piazza Sant’Antonio Nuovo, Trieste, Italy).
Organized by the FGV (Friuli Venezia Giulia) Italo-American Association and the American Corner of Triest, the festival was created with the aim of encouraging reading through cinema and vice versa. It’s a part of a research project on the fiction of the imaginary between the United States and Italy, the research being conducted by Giulia Iannuzzi, thanks to a European research grant provided by AREA Science Park and supervised by Professor Leonardo Buonomo.
Giulia Iannuzzi, a post-doc, has put together a great program of classic Sci-Fi films and TV Series, linking the original novels to the films.

Science Fiction to the max. Before each film, a brief introduction and some literary background about the book that became the film. In the new multimedia room. The films are screened in original language with subtitles.
