On 15th and 16th of June 2013, La Maison d’Ailleurs (House of Elsewhere) from Yverdon-les-Bains, Switzerland organized a Jules Verne Weekend.
The program:
Expo (Saturday 15thand Sunday 16th from 11.00 to 18.00) : Presentation of the work of students from OPTI Nord & Broye on the stairs leading to Espace Jules Verne.
Theatrical performances (Saturday 15th from 18.00 to 20.00 and Sunday16th from 17.00) : “Paris in the Twentieth Century”, based on the novel by Jules Verne.
Urban Game (Saturday 15thand Sunday 16th from 11.00, 12.30, 14.00, 15.30 and 17.00)
Eccentric Club (creation of Emilie Tappolet) transformed the town of Yverdon-les-Bains in a full natural background game.
Using a smartphone application connected to a game board inside the museum, the gamers had been guided through the town of Yverdon-les-Bains on an epic journey in the footsteps of Jules Verne.
