Rumors appeared that Budapest will probably launch an Eurocon bid for 2018, 30 years after they were hosts for the last time of this event and that caused some foreign attention to a fandom that is basically unknown to many of us.
However, the spring opening of their national convention, the Hungarocon will open its doors soon! The date is the 16th of May 2015 and the location can be found at: Ferencvárosi Művelődési Központ, 1096 Budapest, Haller u. 27.
There will be various presentations and workshops on topics of fantasy and science-fiction, role-playing and cosplay.
