    2013 Hugo Awards Ceremony to be Broadcast Live – LoneStarCon 3 (2013 World Science Fiction Convention)

    LoneStarCon 3, the 71st World Science Fiction Convention, San Antonio, Texas, USA : August 29 – September 2, 2013, in partnership with Ustream, will broadcast the 2013 Hugo Awards Ceremony live and advertising-free on Sunday, September 1, 2013.

    The ceremony will be held in the Grand Ballroom of the Marriott Rivercenter hotel in downtown San Antonio, Texas, USA, starting at 8 PM Central Daylight Time (San Antonio time zone is UTC/GMT -6, it will be Monday 2nd of September, 2.00 AM in London ; 3.00 AM in Paris, Madrid, Rome, Berlin, etc.).

    LoneStarCon 3 Toastmaster Paul Cornell, himself a past Hugo Award winner and multiple Hugo Award nominee, will host the ceremony.

    The event will be broadcast live via Ustream at www.ustream.tv/hugo-awards.               

    In addition, the official Hugo Awards site (www.TheHugoAwards.org) will provide live text coverage via CoverItLive.

    As in previous  years, the CoverItLive broadcast will be hosted by former Worldcon Co-Chairman Kevin Standlee and two-time Campbell Award Nominee Mur Lafferty.”
