Saturday the 23rd of January 2016 at the Gigamesh bookstore (8, Bailèn Street/Carrer de Bailèn, Barcelona/Catalonia, Spain), Fantàstik and the Catalan Science Fiction and Fantasy Society (SCCFF=Societat Catalana de Ciència-ficció i Fantasia) are presenting the 1st edition of the „Fantàstik Day of the Fantastika” Symposium (I Jornada Fantàstik de Gènere Fantàstic: presentació de la SCCFF i Taula Rodona) where you can discover the latest SF&F news and informations and a new edition of the Catalan SF&F magazine Catarsi (Catharsis).
Recently the the Catalan Science Fiction and Fantasy Society (SCCFF =Societat Catalana de Ciència-ficció i Fantasia) elected a new board and the „Fantàstik Day of the Fantastika” will present the new team within the framework of this event organized by Fantàstik in collaboration with SCCFF. Well, the day has come to invite you to spend the Saturday afternoon of January 23rd at the Gigamesh bookstore (8, Bailèn Street/Carrer de Bailèn, Barcelona) and to enjoy the Symposium organized by Fantàstik and SCCFF.

The Catalan Science Fiction and Fantasy Society (La Societat Catalana de Ciència-ficció i Fantasia) was established in 1997 to boost the science fiction section of the Catalan Writers Association and in July 2005 was legalized as a separate entity.
